There is so much to do in and around the small Gippsland town of Noojee, located in the Baw Baw Shire, a 20 minute drive from Neerim South approximately 132km from Melbourne.

Visit the famous Noojee Trestle Bridge, originally built in 1915 & 1919, take a walk around then across it. You can then take the short drive to Tooronga Falls and do the, Tooronga Falls and Amphitheatre Falls Loop Walka one-hour circular walking track with amazing views of the waterfalls. If you are interested in a longer walk, you could drive a bit further out of town and take the 3.2km round trip walk to see the Ada Tree. It is thought to be one of Victoria’s oldest trees at more than 300 years old and standing at approximately 76 meters high.

After all that sight-seeing and walking, you will be spoilt for choice with the number of places to eat and have a drink in town. Visit the famous Noojee Hotel, The Outpost Restaurant, The Toolshed Bar or enjoy a coffee at the Little Red Duck Café. The town has a General Store / Post Office, and you could visit the Alpine Trout Farm on your way out of town, catch your own trout or buy some of their products to take home.
