Rokeby is a small town 100km east of Melbourne, in Gippsland.
The 2nd Saturday of each month the town is a buzz hosting the Rokeby Market, one of the largest markets in the area. Goods available include fresh local produce, baked goods, flowers, plants, hand crafted products as well as fresh food and coffee vans to enjoy whilst you wander the market and its many stalls.
The town is lucky enough to have a Coffee Van – Franklin and the Bean visit multiple mornings each week. It is also home to a recreation reserve, children’s playground, town hall and tennis courts.
There are no shops in the town itself, the nearest are located in Neerim South (8km away), Warragul (11km away) and Drouin (14km away).
The town is popular with walkers, trail runners, mountain bikers and horse riders with their use of the Rokeby Crossover Rail Trail. This also makes up part of the Rokeby-Neerim trail, a 12.6km track that is enjoyed by many and has some stunning views along the way of the nearby Tarago Reservoir and Mount Baw Baw.
