Meeniyan is located a 15 minutes from Leongatha drive from Inverloch and 25 minutes from Inverloch.
Meeniyan is located in the South Gippsland Shire, and the area is largely made up of Dairy Farms, Beef Farms , lifestyle properties as well as a number of regular town size properties in the town centre.
Meeniyan Primary School is located just up the hill from the town centre and the Meeniyan Football and Netball Club is on the opposite side of the main street.
Meeniyan is home to a number of shops, in the centre of town including Meeniyan Art Gallery, Meeniyan Square, and you will be spoilt for choice of dining options with Moo’s at Meeniyan, Trulli, Pandesal Bakery, and Meeniyan Hotel all in the centre of town.
It is also home to the Meeniyan Garlic festival in February each year.
