Yarragon sits between Darnum and Trafalgar, at the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges. It’s a popular spot for travelers to stop for a coffee and something to eat whilst travelling along the Princes Hwy. Its main street is home to many cafes, gift and specialty shops. The train station sits opposite the main street, so public transport to and from the city or further up the line is an easy trek.
Yarragon has a monthly market, held on the 4th Saturday of each month. Yarragon Craft & Produce Market is held either in the park or in the town hall, depending on the weather.
